John Wheeler is an acupuncturist offering traditional chinese full body acupuncture along with western medical auricular acupuncture, which is especially effective in hormonal regulation, mood and emotional well-being as well as pain management.
It is because of the strong hormonal influences of auricular acupuncture that John recently lectured at the Zita West affiliated acupuncture conference on fertility and works in addiction and mental health in the NHS.

    Welcome to my website. My name is John Wheeler, I am an acupuncturist in south west London and a practitioner of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). In my practice I seek to form a compassionate and healing rapport with patients, offering effective medical care and self-care through patient education. Chinese medicine aims treatment at the symptoms of disease and the underlying cause of disease with the focus always on the person and their well-being.



    Along with Traditional Chinese Acupuncture my treatments may include:

  • Shonishin, Paediatric Japanese acupuncture, without needles.

  • Cupping therapy, the use of suction cups for relaxation and pain relief.

  • Moxibustion, heat therapy obtained by the burning of herbs.

  • Auricular Acupuncture, specialist ear acupuncture treatments.

  • Electro-Acupuncture, for pain relief.

  • Chinese dietary advice, for supplementing treatments.
